How do I apply?
You can apply online by completing the online application form. If you prefer to submit your application by telephone, please call 1-800-551-0839 and mention the priority code listed on the security bar of the online application.

Is it secure to apply online?
Yes. All data transmitted between your computer and our secure site is protected by an encryption method called Secure Sockets Layer (SSL). This is industry standard security software, which prevents anyone else but FIA Card Services, the issuer and administrator of the card, from viewing your personal details. SSL encodes your data before it is transmitted over the Internet. An icon, such as a lock or key, will be displayed in the corner of your browser's window to let you know that your browser's encryption is active. If you do not have this level of encryption or simply prefer to submit your application by telephone, please call 1-800-551-0839 and mention the priority code listed on the security bar of the online application.

How do I know that my application form has been successfully submitted?
Receipt of your application form will be acknowledged by a thank you message, which will appear automatically after your application is successfully submitted. If this does not happen, simply:

How long does it take to get a decision on my application?
Our Credit Specialists view every application we receive on an individual basis. We take our time and try to approve every individual who applies. We will notify you of our credit decision by mail within 30 days from the date that we receive your completed application.

Why did I get an error message when I submitted my application?
The most common reason for receiving an error message is due to failure to complete a required field on the application form or by using special characters within your response. Once I receive my card, how is it protected against fraudulent use?
There is no liability for theft, loss or fraudulent Internet use - as long as you tell us as soon as your card cannot be found or you notice any unusual transactions on your account.

Can I get a card for my spouse, child, or significant other?
Yes, in fact with the Credit Card you can have up to three additional authorized users on your account all for no extra charge. As the primary cardholder, you are responsible for all account activity incurred by all authorized users.

Am I protected on the Internet?
If you have a problem with anything you've purchased via the Internet with your Credit Card, you should first check with the retailer's Customer Service Department immediately, to request a refund or replacement item. The retailer should resolve the problem to your satisfaction.
If you do experience difficulties, please contact our Customer Satisfaction Helpline within 30 days of making your purchase and we'll do everything we can to help you. You can access your account information online by using FIA Card Services Net Access Online Banking service at FIA Card Services Net Access. Net Access allows you to:

Are there fees associated with using online account management?
Access to your account through FIA Card Services Net Access is provided to you at no additional charge. As a cardholder, you can view your statement, download your statements into MS Money or Quicken, and much more, all at no additional cost.

How do I transfer a balance?
During the application process, you can apply to transfer three (3) credit card account or other type of loan balances from issuers other than Bank of America, N.A., FIA Card Services, or its affiliates. If your application is approved, we will process the balance transfers you requested with your application. The total value of transfer requests cannot exceed your credit line. We will send either full or partial payment to your creditors in the order you list them. Allow at least 2 weeks from account opening for processing. Continue paying each creditor until the transfer appears as a credit.
After you are approved, you can use our online balance transfer service or call our Customer Satisfaction to transfer as many loan balances as you like up to the available portion of your credit line.

Are there any fees for making a balance transfer?
Balance Transfers are processed as described in the Terms and Conditions of the application, which may include a transaction fee. Please refer to the Terms and Conditions of the application for details. Balance Transfers incur finance charges from the transaction date.

How can I use my Credit Card Cash Advance Checks?
Your Credit Card Cash Advance Checks can be used to transfer cash into your current account. And you can use your checks for anything from paying off other credit card and store cards, to paying your general utility bills. Please note that you cannot use a Cash Advance Check to pay off or pay down any account issued by Bank of America, N.A., FIA Card Services, or its affiliates. (Fees may apply.
